Working Dogs for Sale
Second Chance program dogs are dogs that we have rescued and rehabilitated and are ready to find their new home. These dogs are generally potty trained, crate trained, know basic obedience ( sit, down, stay, bed, come, leave it, release, loose leash walking).
On rare occasion, TCD will have dogs available for the general public to adopt. When we do have dogs available, it will be posted in this page, so check back often. If you haven’t liked us on facebook, now is the time, when you do, you will get updates on the status of our dogs.We also prefer to place these dogs with local families.
Most of these dogs are generally 1-2 years of age,but we do have puppies sometime. They are generally potty trained, spayed/neutered, current on all vaccinations, and have basic training. These dogs are not able to fulfill the high standards of the program due to temperament, health, behavioral issues and/or trainability. Sometimes a dog just doesn’t want to be a service dog. We want the best for all of our dogs so we will do our best to find a suitable career that can provide a happy and fulfilling life. These dogs has a potential of being a great agility dog, rally-o dog, scent dog , etc., and of course they make a really good pet.
These dogs are released as pets and therefore they do not have public acess rights as service dogs do.
On Occassion, we will have police, personal protection, detection, search and rescue or trailing dogs availalble for sale. The price of the dog includes handler and k9 team course where the new hanlder will learn everything that he needs to know to work together with his new k9 partner as a team.
All the dogs in our program will be up to date on vaccination, healthy and has had some type of training done.On each of the career changed dog’s profile you will see a colored paw. These colored paw indicate the experience level required to adopt this particular dog.

Green Paw:

Yellow Paw:
